The Berkeley World hosted a lavish gathering of the who’s who to celebrate the launch of its namesake magazine Berkeley Bespoke, The Love Issue.
Hosted at the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, guests were treated to a champagne-fuelled evening of splendour in the stunning setting of the hotel’s grand ballroom, surrounded by fabulous bouquets by El de Fleur. Guests on the night enjoyed the exclusive Berkeley Champagne alongside a caviar tasting station from the connoisseurs’ favourite, Volzhenka, and exquisite pan-asian canapes from Dinings SW3.
The night also saw the unveiling of the sculpture Aurea Healing Heart by Kas Galos and Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir and an array of performances by emerging talent and headlining DJs as models paraded clad in PRITCH and draped in dazzling rubies from Faidee.
VIP guests on the night included everyone from world-renowned artists to athletes and global entrepreneurs.
The star-studded guestlist saw everyone from Tinie Tempah, celebrity chef Tom Aikens and supermodel of the moment Ariadna Gutierrez to Nick Candy of the Candy Brothers duo and adventure activist Johan Ernst Nilson.
Joining them were some of the most prominent figures in the art world, from the legendary Bradley Theodore to Mr Dripping, who performed a live art show on the night as guests watched on.
The Aurea Healing Heart unveiled during the evening, is an emotive sculpture capturing the essence of the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi. Evoking the powerful message that our wounds do not define us, and that they instead make us stronger, the sculpture features striking golden scars that adorn it.
In a nod to the theme of this issue, the cover features the iconic artwork Rain of Love by Kas Galos and is finished with an embossing effect. Taking vibrancy colours and expressive typography, the piece represents the boundless and unconditional love that connects us all.
Commenting on the night, Berkeley World Founder and CEO Andrew Bezhenar said, ‘We are so thrilled to be hosting the launch of our latest issue, The Love Issue, here in the spectacular venue of the Bulgari Hotel London. This is a wonderful evening to celebrate in style with our clients, and I am grateful to those who contribute to the magazine and our partners who have helped make this evening a success.
